What is New in the Group?

February 12, 2024 - Another international exhibition is upon us. This time, along with the L 410 NG aircraft, we will be presenting at the Singapore Airshow, which takes place from February the 20th to the 25th. The L 410 NG, produced by our Czech based, daughter company Aircraft Industries, headed to the exhibition already on Sunday. It has an 11,387-kilometer journey ahead of it.

December 18 - Representatives of the OMNIPOL Group and it’s daughter company Aircraft Industries, led by Deputy Sales Director for CEE and CIS Michal Jágrik, landed our passenger aircraft the L 410 NG in Romania on Tuesday the 12th of December.

12th December - The first edition of the Aviation Innovation Expo started on Monday in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. The Omnipol Industrial Group is, showcasing it’s products, at the event with a stand that will be open until Saturday, December 16th.

December 1st, 2023 – The Industrial Group OMNIPOL welcomed a very significant visit from Ethiopia. Earlier this week, our representatives met with the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abyi Ahmed at Aero Vodochody, where we are the strategic partner, also holding a minority stake.

November 29, 2023 – Aircraft Industries, part of the OMNIPOL industrial Group, handed over two L 410 aircraft after comprehensive modernization and maintenance to our customer – the Army of the Czech Republic. As a Czech Group of companies, we are pleased that our L 410 aircraft, manufactured entirely at the Kunovice plant, is flying not only alongside European armies but also under the Czech flag.

The Omnipol Groups daughter company, ERA, based in Pardubice, has achieved success in the 2023 ranking of the most valuable Czech companies. ERA secured a notable 49th position, with an estimated value of 6.4 billion Czech crowns.

We have achieved great success. With our new website, we have won the WebTop100 competition in the Corporate Website of the Year category for 2023. This is, the largest annual competition for, digital projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This year, we even surpassed ČEZ and Komerční banka.

The L 410 NG departed from the Czech town of Kunovice, on Thursday the 9th of November, at half past seven in the morning for Dubai, where the Dubai Airshow is set to start on Monday, November 13th. The OMNIPOL Group, with it’s wholly owned daughter companies Aircraft Industries, ERA, MESIT and it’s partner company Aero Vodochody will all be presenting their products in Dubai. This year it will be, on a shared stand of Czech companies, under the patronage of the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Czech Ministry of Defense.

The OMNIPOL Group is a part of Prime Minister Petr Fiala's business mission on a journey through Africa. Specifically, President Jiří Podpěra and Chairman of the Board Jozef Piga are participating in it. The first stop was Ethiopia, where our President met with local representatives over the weekend. Among them was General Lieutenant Yilma Merdassa, the commander of the Ethiopian Air Force.

Chairman of the Board of OMNIPOL, Jozef Piga, and other representatives of the company met with Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov in a bilateral meeting on Wednesday, October 11th.

In the term 13.-14. In September, the first but very successful Future Air Force Conference took place in Prague, of which OMNIPOL was the general partner. A total of 65 military participants from 25 countries, including six commanders of the national air forces, 18 generals, 30 colonels and other officers, mostly pilots and training specialists, successfully created a new professional platform for mutual exchange of experiences and breaking down old ideas. And that was the main goal set by the organizers, i.e. the Future Forces Forum and the companies DEFCON and DALI Consulting.
